Advertising Available
August 12, 2008I’ve been making loads of changes to the site recently, one of them is the ad boxes in the sidebar which are available to buy for a very reasonable price. The advertising spots have great exposure site-wide so read on to find out more about this offer and see some stats about how PSDlearning is going. The 150×150 ad boxes in the sidebar are only $40, try comparing that to other Photoshop tutorial sites!

You may have noticed that PSDlearning is changing rapidly; the design, the features and the way the site works. One other change I’ve made recently was to remove all the Google ads from PSDlearning and swap these for the 125×125 boxes in the sidebar, obviously this was a big decision as the traffic I receive is enough to give me a reasonable amount of cash from the Google ads. However I didn’t like the look of the ads and they complicated the site and took up valuable sidebar space. I didn’t want to have both the ad squares and the Google ads either as the Google ads would distract people from the ad boxes and I hoped the ad boxes would show ads related to the site which would be of interest to you; the readers.
Why advertise on PSDlearning
Despite being a relatively new site, PSDlearning as gained a good reputation with designers; professional and amateur as well as with other well respected sites. It is known for providing high quality Photoshop tutorials. PSDlearning gets a lot of targeted traffic from places like tutorial directories and since PSDlearning started, not one tutorial has been declined from any directory. Over the last three months PSDlearning has never had less than 1500 unique views in a day with this figure easily reaching above 6000 on some days meaning that each ad box should easily get you around 80000 impressions per month. The fact that PSDlearning doesn’t show any other ads and also has a very minimal, simple layout will ensure that your ads grab loads of attention. I decided to keep the ads very affordable at $40 per month, to illustrate just how reasonable that is I’ve shown some statistics about our traffic compared to probably the three most popular Photoshop tutorial sites. You can see that although the traffic is similar to these sites at the moment I’m sure that it will grow a lot over the coming month as I have big plans for the site.
