I thought a great way to expand this community would be to create a Flickr group where anyone can add their art and photos to. I’ve set it up so the nine newest images show in the sidebar; this means there will always be something new to look at when you visit. I’ll also give a quick roundup regularly of some of the best peices in the group.

Glowing effects are getting used more and more now and they look awesome when done well so I’ve compiled a list of the best tutorials showing you how to achieve these effects. All these Photoshop tutorials give you great results and a good explanation of how to get there. I’ve included 25 so it should keep you busy for a while anyway!

Things have changed around here; mainly the look of the place and the layout. PSDlearning is no longer held together by CSS hacks and pieces of string. I fully redesigned and rebuilt the site from scratch, don’t worry all the tutorials are still here and memberships, just a load of extra stuff that makes PSDlearning better. Now I can focus on writing some more tutorials.

I thought now would be a good time to give a small update on how PSDlearning is progressing as yesterday I reached one of my targets of getting 15,000 page-views in one day. So if you’re interested in statistics then read on and I’ll give you a couple of graphs as well as some general info and what I’ve got planned for the future. I’ll give a preview of the next two awesome tutorials I’m writing at the moment.

I’ve been making loads of changes to the site recently, one of them is the ad boxes in the sidebar which are available to buy for a very reasonable price. The advertising spots have great exposure site-wide so read on to find out more about this offer and see some stats about how PSDlearning is going. The 150×150 ad boxes in the sidebar are only $40, try comparing that to other Photoshop tutorial sites!

PSD PRO is now officially open! PSD PRO is the upgrade of PSDlearning and gives members access to extra features, resources and tutorial files that regular users can’t access. Right now I’m giving out free memberships so make sure you grab one. PSD PRO is still very much in development but I’m confident it will be a great addition to the site and there are already a few members.
