PSDlearning Update

I thought now would be a good time to give a small update on how PSDlearning is progressing as yesterday I reached one of my targets of getting 15,000 page-views in one day. Free Sticker Pack

After writing a tutorial on creating the sticker effect in Photoshop I thought it would be useful to you if I released a free sticker pack for you to download. The pack includes some really useful stickers like an RSS and a comments sticker that could be used in a website or a blog as well as a few other cool stickers. I’ve also released the PSD files for all of these, so all in all a great download.

Scanline Text

I thought I’d write a tutorial aimed more at beginners, teaching you how to achieve the all important glowing effect which people can’t seem to get enough of. Here we will create a style I’ve named ‘Scanline Text’ which is basically text which glows like bright scanlines, with a smart reflection as well. Animated Interface

CD Cover Design

In this tutorial we learn some original Photoshop techniques through the creation of a CD cover. Some useful methods of enhancing workflow and efficiency are shown like using smart objects. The image we are creating will be in the style of some of the Ministry of Sound CD’s. We will explore a creative use of the displace filter in order to distort some of the image.
