How To Design Packaging? Define The Dimensions of Your Product First!

Once the dimensions are defined, you can create a new Photoshop document by clicking on the “File” menu and selecting “New.”

Find or Create Packaging Templates That Match Your Product’s Dimensions

If you are selling products, you need to find or create packaging templates that match your product’s dimensions. You can find these templates online or at your local packaging store. Once you have the template, you can print it out and cut it to size.

This will ensure that your product is properly protected during shipping.

Place your product image on top of the template, then create a clipping mask by selecting the product image and the template layer and choosing “Create Clipping Mask” from the layer menu. Your product image will now be visible through the template!

Add Texts and Apply Layer Styles!

There are many ways to design packaging. One way is to add texts and apply layer styles. This can be done in Photoshop or other editing software.

To add texts, first create a new layer. Then, use the type tool to select the font, size, and color of the text. Type the text on the layer.
